The Formosa Taiwanese Restaurant brand which managed by Esquire Kitchen Of Taipei Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 2004 by Mr. Chang Kuei Feng, and has been in business for more than 10 years.
Continuing the enthusiasm of Taiwan’s century-old celebrity chef family in serving authentic good food, the founder came to Kuala Lumpur to set up his 1st Taiwanese Restaurant at Kuchai Lama Entrepreneur Park based on his origin Taiwanese Recipe.
In order to let customers taste the most authentic Taiwanese Food, some of the selected Taiwanese ingredients and sauces which only manufactured in Taiwan, Mr. Chang preferred imports directly from Taiwan even the cost is much higher.
After years of hard work, the company are looking forward to recommending Taiwanese food to more people, so that the Malaysian can satisfy the taste of Taiwanese cuisine without going to Taiwan.
With the mission of this and the support of local Taiwanese food lover and foody, the company started their 2nd outlet in year 2007 at Sunway Pyramid shopping mall and also setup their Central Kitchen in year 2009 to cater for future expansion. Up to date, the company continue to expand their business with all together 3 outlets in Klang Valley and 1 outlet in Johor Bharu.
